Is there a direct flight from Indore to Srinagar?

No. Skyscanner says no airlines currently offer direct flights between Indore Airport and Srinagar Airport and finds flights with stops from ₹16,653 for a return. It names IndiGo as offering the cheapest tickets. Its cheapest flight found is ₹7,612, its return fares for travel next month start from ₹17,288, and it names November as the cheapest month and around 40 days ahead as the cheapest time to book. These are the lowest figures, so peak dates will cost more. We could not read a Momondo page for this route, so we quote no second fare site, and we have no sample itineraries to show: ask the airline or us which connection suits you.

Is there a train from Indore to Kashmir?

Yes. ConfirmTkt lists the 12919 Malwa Express leaving Indore at 12:15 and reaching Katra at 16:30 after 28 h 15 min. For comparison, ConfirmTkt's Delhi page shows the 12919 covering New Delhi to Katra in 12 h. Cleartrip gives Indore Junction to New Delhi as 13 h 35 min, the distance to Srinagar as about 1,625 km and a drive of 24 h 46 min, and a bus route of 44 h 26 min. What does a Kashmir trip from Indore cost?

How many days do you need from Indore?

Count the journey as part of the trip. A connecting itinerary or the Malwa Express occupies the first day, and the return does the same, so we would not suggest anything shorter than the 4N/5D Classic, which covers Srinagar, Sonmarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam. When should you leave Indore?

Indore's average daily maximum is 38.7 °C in April and 40.4 °C in May, and 27.6 °C in December. Both cities' figures are Wikipedia's 1991–2020 normals.
