Day 1
Arrival in Srinagar — Houseboat Stay
Airport pickup and transfer to a Dal Lake houseboat. After check-in, visit Mughal Gardens — Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Pari Mahal and Chashme Shahi. Also visit Shankaracharya Temple. Enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride. Dinner and overnight at the houseboat.

Day 2
Sonmarg Excursion — Thajiwas Glacier
After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg (approx. 3 hours from Srinagar), the ‘Meadow of Gold,’ following the Sindh River through pine forests and alpine scenery. From the base, take a short pony or on-foot walk to Thajiwas Glacier (pony charges payable directly) for close-up views of snow year-round. Return to Srinagar by evening for dinner and overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 3
Gulmarg Excursion — Gondola Ride
Drive to Gulmarg (approx. 1.5 hours), home to one of the world’s highest gondola cable cars. Ride the Gulmarg Gondola (Phase 1, tickets payable on-site) up to Kongdoori for panoramic views of the Pir Panjal range. Enjoy a walk through the meadows before heading back to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
Pahalgam Excursion — Lidder Valley
Drive to Pahalgam (approx. 2 hours), the ‘Valley of Shepherds,’ through apple orchards and saffron fields. Explore the Lidder River valley, with optional visits to Betaab Valley, Aru Valley or Chandanwari (direct payment). Pony rides on other Pahalgam trails can be arranged locally; Baisaran meadow was reported closed in April 2026, so we confirm access before you travel. Return to Srinagar for your final night at the houseboat.

Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward journey, with memories of Kashmir’s glaciers, meadows and valleys to take home.
