How do you fly from Dhaka to Srinagar?

Skyscanner reports no airline flying Dhaka to Srinagar direct, which means a connection, most simply through an Indian city. The readable pages print fares in pounds sterling, so convert at the rate on the day. Its cheapest one-way flight is £142, return flights with stops begin at £226 and returns for next month at £257; it names April as the cheapest month, Air India as the cheapest airline and around 40 days ahead as the time to book.

On the Kolkata route Skyscanner lists Biman Bangladesh Airlines, IndiGo and US-Bangla Airlines as flying direct. The second flight to Srinagar then leaves from Kolkata or Delhi: Momondo shows a direct Delhi flight daily, 1 h 20 min at the fastest, and our Kolkata page and Delhi page give each city's dated details. Leave a margin between the two legs, since an international arrival followed by an onward domestic flight needs one.

Can Bangladeshi passport holders use the Indian e-Visa?

Bangladesh is among the passports named on the official portal's e-Visa eligibility list. The e-Tourist visa there comes as one month (30 days), one year (365 days) or five years, and foreigners and OCI card holders may submit the e-Arrival card online within 72 hours before arriving. Because rules and services can change at short notice, read the portal for the fee, the processing time and the document list on the day you apply. The High Commission of India in Dhaka lists helpline numbers and visa documents on its own website; check both before booking flights. Apply only through the portal or the High Commission's channels, and never pay a stranger who offers a visa.

What do other governments advise about Jammu and Kashmir?

Read this before you book. The India page of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (checked 4 November 2026) gave advice against all travel to the Union Territory in question, listing the Jammu-Srinagar national highway, the city of Srinagar, Pahalgam, Gulmarg and Sonamarg. Canada's government advice for the same territory was to avoid all travel, because of the unpredictable security situation. What does a Kashmir trip cost for Bangladeshi travellers?

A TDI land package is a set of deluxe rooms and taxes, a Shikara ride, two meals daily (breakfast and dinner) and private-vehicle transfers that include the Srinagar airport pickup and drop, while flights, lunches and entry fees are billed elsewhere. When should you leave Bangladesh?

In each month of the table Dhaka's average daily maximum is above Srinagar's, so the contrast with Kashmir grows towards winter, and the gap in December is the widest. The figures are Wikipedia's 1991–2020 normals.

Eid al-Fitr is one holiday to plan around: Wikipedia lists 9 to 11 March 2027 and notes that the actual date may vary as per moon sighting, so confirm it before you buy tickets.
