How do you fly from Singapore to Srinagar?

Skyscanner's Singapore site reports that no airline flies Changi to Srinagar direct. Its fares carry a dollar sign, which we repeat as printed. The cheapest flight it found is $274, next month's returns start at $754, March is its cheapest month, Air India the cheapest airline and around 40 days ahead its booking advice. The practical route is two legs, and Singapore has plenty of choice for the first.

Leave a generous margin between the legs, because an international arrival, immigration and a domestic departure can run long; your flight times let us build the first day around them.

Can Singapore passport holders use the Indian e-Visa?

On the official portal, Singapore passports appear in the e-Visa eligibility list. Three e-Tourist durations are offered: a one-month visa of 30 days, a one-year visa of 365 days or a five-year visa. Foreigners and OCI card holders can file the e-Arrival card online in the 72 hours before arrival. As fees and rules change, check the portal's fee, processing time and document list on the day you apply; apply only through it and keep the approval with your passport.

What do other governments advise about Jammu and Kashmir?

Read this before you book. The UK's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (checked 4 November 2026) gives advice against all travel to the territory of Jammu and Kashmir, a warning that names Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Srinagar city and the Jammu-Srinagar highway. Canada's travel page puts the territory under an 'avoid all travel' heading because of the unpredictable security situation. When do Singapore school and public holidays fall in 2027?

The Ministry of Education's release of 14 July 2026 sets the vacations for 2027. The June break runs from 29 May to 27 June, and the end-of-year break from 20 November to 31 December, which gives families two long windows. Among the public holidays it lists Hari Raya Haji on 17 May, Vesak Day on 20 May and Deepavali on 28 October. Wikipedia also gives 9 to 11 March 2027 for Eid al-Fitr, which the MOE list shows as Hari Raya Puasa on 10 March, subject to moon sighting.

What does a Kashmir trip cost for Singapore travellers?

What the TDI land package pays for: deluxe rooms, taxes, the Shikara ride, evening and morning meals, and a private vehicle that does the pickup at Srinagar airport and the drop afterwards. Flights, lunches and entry tickets are not part of it. Prices on TDI's side are in rupees and are not converted to Singapore dollars; use the rate on the day you pay, and treat flights as a separate purchase for that reason.

How many days do you need from Singapore?

Two flights mean two days largely lost to travel. Plan on the 4N/5D Classic at the very least: it covers Srinagar, Sonmarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam. Longer options are the 5N/6D Explorer, with a final houseboat night, the 5N/6D Gulmarg Stay, with a night by the meadows, and the 6N/7D Doodhpathri plan, which fits the longer June break.
