How do you fly from Saudi Arabia to Srinagar?

Skyscanner reports no airline flying Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam to Srinagar direct, so you connect, and the sensible way is to fly to Delhi first. Fares on the pages we could read come in pounds sterling; convert at the rate of the day. The figures are the lowest the site found, not typical fares.

For the Delhi leg, Skyscanner counts 22 flights a week from Riyadh, 4 h 34 min on average and a cheapest flight of £104, and 55 flights a week from Jeddah, 5 h 21 min on average and a cheapest flight of £120. From Delhi, Momondo lists a daily direct flight onward to Srinagar, quickest 1 h 20 min; the Delhi page carries the dated detail. Skyscanner's advice on booking is around 40 days ahead. Leave a generous margin between the two legs and send your times, so the first day can be built around them.

What entry rules apply from Saudi Arabia?

Entry depends on your passport, and not every case could be confirmed. The portal describes an e-Tourist visa in three lengths (30 days, 365 days and five years) and lets foreigners and OCI card holders send in the e-Arrival card online within the 72 hours before they arrive. But the eligibility list we read there does not name Saudi Arabia, so a Saudi passport holder should not assume the e-Visa applies. The websites of the Indian Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulate General in Jeddah could not be read when we checked; please use the official sites, and the e-Visa portal, to learn the rule for your passport before you buy a ticket.

What do other governments advise about Jammu and Kashmir?

Read this before you book. Britain's Foreign Office, in the India page we read (checked 4 November 2026), gives advice against any trip to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and names the city of Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg and the Jammu-Srinagar national highway. Canada's page reaches the same conclusion, avoid all travel, and gives the unpredictable security situation as its reason. The Government of Saudi Arabia's own guidance is not quoted; read your ministry's. When should you leave Saudi Arabia?

Riyadh's summer highs are the contrast with Srinagar. The table shows Wikipedia's Riyadh normals, average daily maximum, against Srinagar's. We could not read a reliable published school calendar for Saudi Arabia for the coming year, so your own school's dates decide.

What does a Kashmir trip cost for travellers from Saudi Arabia?

How many days do you need from Saudi Arabia?

Two flights eat into the trip. From Saudi Arabia we would not go below the 4N/5D Classic, which visits Srinagar, Sonmarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam. The 5N/6D Explorer finishes on a houseboat, the 5N/6D Gulmarg Stay keeps a night near Gulmarg, and the 6N/7D Doodhpathri plan is the longest, for anyone with more leave.
