Is there a direct flight from Vadodara to Srinagar?

No direct flight exists on Skyscanner's page: it lists no airline flying Vadodara to Srinagar direct and shows journeys with stops from ₹18,452 return. Air India has the cheapest tickets there, the cheapest flight found is ₹8,523 and next-month returns begin at ₹19,916. November is its cheapest month and its booking tip is around 40 days ahead. Treat these as floor prices; peak dates cost more. Cleartrip puts the flight leg at about 4 h 20 min. A Momondo page for Vadodara was unavailable, so a second fare site is missing.

Should you fly from Ahmedabad instead?

It is worth asking, because the nearest big airport with a direct service is a short drive away. Cleartrip gives Vadodara to Ahmedabad as about 111 km, a drive of 1 h 20 min, and Momondo lists direct Ahmedabad flights from Tuesday to Sunday with a fastest flight time of 2 h 10 min. Can you go from Vadodara to Kashmir by train?

Yes, there is a through train. ConfirmTkt lists the 12471 Swaraj Express leaving Vadodara at 16:06 and reaching Katra at 17:50 after 25 h 44 min. Cleartrip gives Vadodara Junction to New Delhi as 11 h 7 min and a train-and-bus route to Srinagar of 32 h 44 min; its train, taxi and bus route takes 37 h 46 min, with 24 h 57 min of it on the train. What does a Kashmir trip from Vadodara cost?

How many days do you need from Vadodara?

Journey time belongs in the plan: a connection takes up much of the first day, the Swaraj Express runs for more than a day in each direction, and going home costs the same time.
