Unlike a rushed day-trip to Pangong Lake, this Ladakh tour package with Pangong stay gives you a full night beside the lake itself — meaning sunset and sunrise over its shifting blues, not just a few hours in the middle of the day. Over 5 nights / 6 days, you’ll also cover Leh’s landmarks, cross Khardungla Pass into Nubra Valley for a camel ride at the White Sand Dunes, and visit Hemis, Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace on the return leg to Leh.
It’s the right pick for travellers who want the complete classic Ladakh circuit at an unhurried pace, rather than compressing everything into 4-5 days.

5 Nights / 6 Days · Leh · Nubra Valley · Pangong. Everything below is customisable — change the pace, add a night, swap a hotel.
Day 1
On arrival at Leh airport meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Leh. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel. Remainder of the day will be for rest, to acclimatize. In the late afternoon around 4 PM, drive to visit Shanti Stupa (Buddhist white-domed stupa (chorten) on a hilltop in Chanspa) followed by a visit to Leh Palace (Former royal palace overlooking the town of Leh). Post this visit Leh Market, here you can find almost everything including Himalayan Pashmina Shawls/Apricot Store/Tibetan Handicrafts/Ladakhi Ornaments/Rugs, Kashmiri Carpets and etc. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel. Since you are reaching an altitude of 4000 meters approximately from 200 mtrs in just one hour’s time, you may be excited and would want to explore everything on your very first day. However, it is your body which needs to get acclimatized to such height and climate. We sincerely suggest that you rest on the first day for body acclimatization.
Day 2
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar and Indus River). En-route visit Magnetic Hill (gravity hill, a type of optical illusion created by rising and descending terrain) and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib (constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak). On your way back, visit Ladakh Hall of fame (Run by the Indian Army, this museum/war memorial houses weapons, history exhibits & a souvenir shop) followed by a visit to Spituk Monastery (also known as Spituk Gompa or Pethup Gompa). Later come back to the hotel and spent the evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4
Morning after Breakfast proceed for Diskit Monastery. Post the Diskit Monastery, proceed for backward journey to Pangong via Shayok. Pangong Lake: The picturesque lake is one of the major draws of the Leh-Ladakh valley. A location of several film shootings and known for its pristine waters surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains, Pangong Lake is a prime tourist attraction. The long and narrow lake lies in the neighbourhood of the famous Chushul Mountains. The mirror-calm water is cold, clear and extremely salty. The lake is a breeding ground for a variety of birds. In the evening check in to your camps at Pangong Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at the camps. (Approx 4000/- for SUV & 7000/- for Traveler Extra for Warila Route – If Shayok route is closed)
Day 5
In the morning have breakfast at your camp/cottage in Pangong. Thereafter, proceed for your journey back to Leh via Changla pass. On the way visit Hemis Monastery. Yes, Pangong camps and cottages are equipped for tourist stays with proper bedding and meals, though nights can get cold even in summer — warm clothing is recommended. The overnight stay is worth it for the sunset and sunrise views most day-trippers miss entirely.
Ladakh is accessible roughly June through September, when the Leh–Manali and Leh–Srinagar highways are open and passes like Khardungla and Changla are snow-free. July–August offers the most stable conditions.
Leh sits at approximately 3,500m, so Day 1 is deliberately unhurried for acclimatization. We recommend staying hydrated, avoiding alcohol on arrival, and informing your guide of any symptoms — our team is experienced in managing high-altitude travel throughout the circuit.
Yes, inner line permits for Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake — including Red Cross, Wildlife and Environmental fees — are included and arranged by our team.
